What information can an owner share with neighbours without making promises about the work?

Explain the relevant access or property interface and provide one contact for concerns, without promising an outcome or assuming permission.

Explain the relevant interface

Identify what the neighbour is likely to notice: a shared entrance, a nearby loading position or an adjoining retained fence. Give a plain description of the agreed work and the appropriate contact. Do not present an estimated sequence as a guaranteed finish date or imply permission to use neighbouring land.

Distinguish notice from agreement

Letting someone know about a project does not settle a boundary dispute, grant access or establish an approval. Any access or shared-property question needs resolution through the responsible parties before it becomes part of the removal plan. Keep the actual agreement with the site record rather than relying on a friendly conversation.

Provide one route for concerns

Name the owner or project contact who can receive an access concern and pass it to the contractor. Avoid asking neighbours to approach active work or give instructions directly to different workers. Keep contact information appropriate for the purpose and do not circulate private household details unnecessarily.

Update meaningful changes

If the loading arrangement or shared access changes, explain the revised arrangement through the same contact. Work-hour rules remain a separate municipal check; the linked noise guide addresses that question. A useful message says which entrance is affected and whom to contact, rather than promising no disruption. Anchor's assessed scope and actual permissions determine what can proceed.

Details to bring to the discussion

Use the points below to explain the unresolved decisions when you contact the relevant service.
